Devil Ball wishes they were there, and so do I! The FBR Open is this week, which means the Tour boys are at TPC Scottsdale, and the famous 20,000 seat 16th hole stadium that rivals the 17th at Sawgrass in fame. It's Amen Corner meets Soccer Hooligans. And it's so much fun to watch!

The Coolness of Skype

So, I was never one to use a webcam until now. And I've got to say, it's pretty darn cool. And Skype makes it easy to call, see, and speak with people over the internet

The lady's Powerbook G4 has started to have display problems, and although this is not hers, it is exactly the same problem.


Also, it won't allow her to copy her HD files to an external HD. Not OS files, but pictures, documents, etc... Something about not having access to modify the disc.

Any suggestions? I'm thinking it's hardware related, like a bad graphics card.

Seem like a good bet for the Title against the Gators?

Not what I thought.

Oklahoma might have the highest powered offense in the country, but they gave up 360 yards, and 24 points per game, and all of their "tough" opponents (Texas, Texas Tech,...) averaged the same.

In comes Florida who only allows 280 yards per game.

And tonight, the teams defenses performed exactly as expected.

Florida average allowing 12 ppg, and Oklahoma average 24 ppg. Tonight, Oklahoma got 363 yards of offense, and Florida got 479, so both teams got 100 yards more than the opposing team's defense averaged.



What does this tell you?

Dikshit designed the software for PartyGaming's successful PartyPoker game, which allowed live gambling over the Web. He left the company and sold a chunk of shares in 2006, the year the U.S. government banned gaming. He recently pleaded guilty to violating U.S. gaming laws and agreed to forfeit $300 million. He could face up to two years in jail but apparently won't be sentenced until 2010. He has already paid $100 million of his fine and will pay the rest in two installments next year.

So I'm A Sappy Guy

I watched Wall-E with my fiancee last night, and I have to say, it WAAAAAY surpassed both of our expectations.

I wanted to see the movie in the theaters because I had heard it was a good movie, and she didn't want to see it at all. We sat down to watch it and I was fully interested in it after about 5 minutes, and she was enthralled after about 30.

Long story short, the movie is visually and conceptually amazing, and a very good movie to watch with your significant other.

I'm kind of confused at who the GBLT community is going to protest about the failure of Proposition 8 in California.

Among white voters, Prop 8 passed 51% to 49%. You know what killed Prop 8?

Los Angeles and San Diego.

Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernadino County and San Diego County combined to kill prop 8. San Fran County voted 75% against Prop 8, but with only a little over 320,000 votes, Orange County by itself wiped all of those votes out.

In the end it was the black and latino vote that killed the bill. At 10% of the vote, blacks voted for the bill by a margin of 70-30, and Latinos who make up 18% of the vote voted for the bill 53-47

So what are Liberals going to do? Who are they going to blame? And how is that group going to react to their scolding?

Let's Play Devil's Advocate

Everyone is talking about how corporations that lose money have been giving hteir greedy executives "Golden Parachutes" for bonuses.

Well, what if they actually deserved it?

Say I were an executive that released a report stating that they had a loss of $2 Billion for that year. Do I deserve a $1 Million Bonus? No?

What if as an executive I saved the company $5 Billion dollars that year? Should I not be given a bonus because the company did not break even?
